Starting from Jesi, we’ll cycle around one of the most characteristic Vallesina’s area, so-called “Jesi’s castles”, most of which have preserved a typical unchanged medieval look, characterized by narrow streets and alleys.
The celebrity of this area is connected to the production of the white wine “Verdicchio dei castelli di Jesi” (Verdicchio of Jesi’s castles), from one of the most famous and autochthonous vine.
Jesi’s castles are 14 and they’re placed in a horseshoe on the hills around the Valley of Jesi. In this route we’ll just cross some of them: Monte Roberto, Castelbellino and Maiolati Spontini, until Cupramontana for a deserved rest.
After that, we come back to the starting point, where you can have a look around the beautiful old city of Jesi, a quiet, generous and welcoming town which shoes who stops an outstanding architectural, artistic and culinary heritage.
